Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements (1099 Position):
Active, Unencumbered State License with a Psych/Mental Health Specialty (PMHNP) in New York.
Active, Individual DEA with address listed in New York (please note that if you intend on prescribing in multiple states, a separate DEA is required in each state).
Minimum of 1 year experience prescribing Buprenorphine.

Assist in conducting patient intakes. Providers see patients after they have undergone an extensive evaluation by the counselor.
Monitor patients’ clinical progress during regular group counseling sessions. Groups are facilitated by specialized counseling staff; providers participate by managing patient medications and answering clinical questions.
Authorize and manage patient prescriptions during monthly visits.
Complete all required notes and reporting in Groups’ EMR system within the designated timeline (full orientation and training on clinical protocols are provided prior to starting your Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Job with us).
